I am at the start of a new big production cycle which is why it is not possible to pre-order at the moment.

Warranty

Bows purchased within the European Union include a 24-month warranty in accordance with EU regulations.
Bows purchased outside the European Union (rest of the world) include a 12-month warranty.

This warranty covers material and manufacturing defects only.
It applies only when the bow is used correctly, the original receipt can be provided, and the included instructions have been followed.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Strings, arrow passes, or stringers (these parts are subject to usage and can be replaced).
  • Any changes in appearance, such as scratches, dents, or marks resulting from regular use.
  • Damage caused by improper use, incorrect stringing or unstringing, dry firing, drawing beyond the maximum draw length, or modifications made to the bow.

The warranty applies only to the original owner and cannot be transferred.
If the warranty conditions are not met, all repairs and replacements will be charged at 100% of labor and material costs.
If the serial number is partially or fully removed, the warranty will be void.

Simon’s Bow Company reserves the right to make product improvements or safety modifications without prior notice.

Neither Simon’s Bow Company nor Simon van der Heijden can be held liable for any form of personal injury, property damage, or other damages resulting from the use of the product.

Instructions for Proper Use of Your Bow

Please read these instructions carefully before using your bow.

  1. Stringing Your Bow
    • Use the method shown in this leaflet or visit www.simonsbowcompany.com/user-guide.
    • This method is only suitable for stringing horse bows made by Simon’s Bow Company.
    • Other stringing methods will void the warranty.
    • Never use the push-and-pull technique to string your bow.
  1. Dry Firing
    • Never dry fire your bow.
    • The energy stored when drawing your bow transfers to the arrow when released. Without an arrow, all the energy goes back into the bow, which can damage the limbs or string.
  2. Draw Length
    • Never draw your bow beyond its maximum draw length.
    • For bows of 56” length, the maximum draw length is 32”. Refer to your bow’s specifications in this leaflet.
  3. Arrow Weight
    • Never shoot an arrow lighter than the specified grains per pound (GPP).
    • Minimum GPP is listed under “Bow Specifications.”
  4. Unstringing Your Bow
    • Always unstring your bow after use.
    • The core of your bow is wood and bamboo, which can fatigue if left strung for extended periods.
    • It is recommended not to leave your bow strung for more than a few days.
  5. String Maintenance
    • Keep your string waxed to prevent it from drying out and breaking.
    • Replace your string after 1 year of use, even if it shows no damage.
    • Replace immediately if signs of wear appear, for your safety and to prevent damage to the bow.
  6. Storage
    • Store your bow in a dry, well-ventilated area, either horizontally or hanging.
    • Never store your bow upright, leaning against a wall.
    • Do not store your bow inside a car, attic, garage, basement, or shed.
    • Extreme heat or humidity can damage your bow.
  7. Safety Checks
    • Always inspect your bow, string, and arrows before shooting.
    • Remember: your bow is not a toy; it can be a deadly weapon.
    • Children must always be supervised by an adult when shooting.
